Bogotá.-The National Administrative Department of Statistics (Dane) revealed this Tuesday that, in the first quarter of 2024, 45,888 housing units were started in Colombia, which meant an increase of 3.6% with respect to the immediately preceding quarter.

Of the total number of units started, 40,938 were for apartments and 4,950 for houses; 30,301 were for VIS housing (27,278 for apartments and 3,023 for houses) and 15,887 for housing other than VIS (13,660 for apartments and 1,927 for houses).
