Alan Guillermo Asprilla Reyes (Inti Asprilla’s brother), new deputy director of the National Planning Department

Bogotá. –This Friday, the website of the Presidency of the Republic published the resume of Alan Guillermo Asprilla, who will be appointed as the new deputy director of the Administrative Department of the General Subdirectorate of Investments, Monitoring and Evaluation of the National Planning Department (DNP).

Alan Guillermo Asprilla Reyes is an economist from the Universidad de los Andes and later obtained a master’s degree in economics at the University of Geneva in Switzerland, and a doctorate in economics at the University of Lausanne, in the same European country.

Professionally, Inti Asprilla’s brother has worked in different roles.

From research assistant to consultant and advisor. His most outstanding experience has been working for the Ministry of Housing, which he joined in 2019 to work in the Directorate of the Housing System supporting the design of housing policy.

At the end of the period of that position that lasted four years, Asprilla Reyes became an advisor to the office of Catalina Velasco, Minister of Housing.

There, his main role was linked to the National Development Plan. Later, in November 2022, he was appointed secretary general of the same portfolio, in charge of administrative matters.
